Guiyang Dongshan Temple
Dongshan Temple is located at Erli, Chengdong, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. In this case, the Dongshan Pagoda in the temple was decorated as a whole. The outer beams of the Dongshan Pagoda were made of aluminum alloy. With the theme of the Forbidden City painting style, it had a more ancient palace spirit. The building makes the atmosphere vigorous. Inside the Dongshan Tower, the aluminum alloy golden flat-carved lotus flower ceiling has a delicate pattern. The golden main board, golden keel and golden squares are used as a whole. The ceiling is magnificent and surrounded by bronze baffles. The algae well in the center of the tower is made up of a large number of lotus petals as a decoration to form a giant algae well. The use of lotus petals greatly adds to the religious color.
The Dongshan Temple was built on the mountain, rising step by step. The Daxiong Hall is in the middle, with the Maitreya in the front and the Tibetan building in the back. There are buildings such as courtyard halls and pavilions on the left and right. There are Gaohui Pavilion on the top of the mountain, with a panoramic view from a hundred miles away, overlooking Guiyang City, and Louge Streets and Alleys. The monks in Meixi, Shaonan and Benchuan in the Qing Dynasty presided over the ancient temple. At that time, Dongshan Temple and Hongfu Temple were also called the Buddhist jungle.
